Ingredients
10g Connemara Organic Carrageen Moss.
600ml Water (preferably filtered).
6 Cloves (for a child, use only 3 cloves)
1 Organic Lemon zest and juice.
1 Inch of Ginger Grated.
1 Inch cinnamon stick
1Level tsp Turmeric.
1tsp Manuka Honey.
2tsp Apple Cider Vinegar.
Method
Soak Carrageen in lukewarm water for 15 mins.
Strain and add Carrageen to heavy based pot.
Add in water, cloves, lemon ginger, cinnamon stick and turmeric.
Bring to a boil and simmer on low heat for 30 mins.
Strain and leave to cool for 15mins then add honey and Apple Cider Vinegar.
Heat up as required in a small pot up to 4 times a day (150ml) serving.
This mixture will stay good in the fridge covered for 5 days.
This mixture can be taken as a tonic or twice daily as a natural preventative.
Can be taken up to 4 times daily, should you feel chesty or a cold coming on.
Note: You can use up to 20g of Carrageen Moss if you want a thicker consistency
