The process used to make the seasoning is called Milling. The Seaweed we use is sourced locally from off the Connemara coast. It is hand harvested, dried then milled, nothing added nothing taken away. It is 100% certified organic.
By having the combination of the three Seaweeds Achill Island Sea Salt, Sweet Kelp, Dillisk and Kombu Kelp you are getting from Kombu Kelp: Iodine, Protein, Iron, Calcium, Folate (Vitamin B9) and Magnesium.
From the Sweet Kelp you get all of the above minerals plus Vitamin C and E. Our Dillisk contributes 10 / 20% protein plus Calcium, Magnesium and Beta Carotene. In all a well balanced nutritional blend which delivers a very Healthy addition to any dish.
