Bladderwrack/Fucuc Vesiculosis

Fucus Vesiculosis or Bladderwrack records the level of the low tide as it is a seaweed that is covered by water for half the tidal cycle. It is high in iodine, and can be used to stimulate the thyroid so is helpful incorporated as part of a healthy lifestyle. 

Fucus Vesiculosis, goes well in fish and seafood dishes (grounded or sprinkled ), can be used in baking , sprinkled on salads and soups, It is a lovely addition to a condiment as it’s a good flavour enhancer and it makes a great stock too.

Delivery is free for all orders over €60 to Ireland.

Once your product has shipped, it usually takes 2 to 4 business days in Ireland, 3 to 5 in UK. If you have not received your products, feel free to contact us using our contact page.

You can return your product up to 14 days after receiving your order. Please make sure that the products are not used or damaged.

Every single product we make is hand harvested near Lettermullen, a beautiful windswept Island off the West Coast of Ireland. For generations, our family have been hand harvesting Kelp and Seaweed off the Connemara Coast.
